Sinossi

While the United Kingdom was entrenched in World War I, an uprising was initiated in Ireland—led by Irish Republicans seeking to end British rule. When the rebellion of 1916 ended, more than 400 people were dead and over 2,000 wounded. More than half of these were civilians. This book is a transport to the Easter Rising in detailed photographs and poignant text.
