This vintage book is a comprehensive guide to designing and making dolls at home. With complete, step-by-step instructions and many helpful illustrations, this charming little volume is ideal for beginners, and will be of considerable utility to anyone with an interest in making dolls from scratch. Contents include: “Making Skeletons”, “Homemade Paste”, “Covering the Skeletons”, “Poses”, “Feet”, “Wigs”, “Stockings Wigs”, “Wig of Real Hair”, “Attaching the Wig”, “Painting”, “Painting the Face”, etc. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly hard-to-come-by and expensive.
