Sinossi

Mr Cartermann's garden isn't just like any garden. It's a garden to stay out of trouble and to get into contact with fairies. But not every fairy is good and peace loving. Evil fairies are unleashing situations, animals and characters from fiction all over Great Britain, leaving the books with blank pages. Ron, trying to overcome his low self-esteem and Amelia, growing up, out and under the tight regime of her father, set about trying to restore order. This proves to be difficult when heavy snowstorms burst out over the country and a Hound, looking very much like an ugly terrifying dinosaur, is snapping at your heels. When Amelia finds Mr Cartermann's spell book "Magicus Perfecticum" things are changing drastically. An adventurous and magical book for young and old. L'autore

Born in The Netherlands in 1978 Wendy Webster (then Wendy van Veeren) always had a love for stories, creativity and writing. Though she started to walk and speak when she was 3 years old and kept a slight handicap in her later years, she was able to go to school and learn not only Dutch, but also English, German and French. Her favorite subject was Art and Art's History and Crafts. When she finished Secondary School, she moved on to college to train as a nurse, but her handicap in walking and speaking was too much in the way, and she decided to take job in her father's Medical Advice Bureau instead. She married a Scottish man, Michael, in 2005 and moved to Scotland in 2006. She now lives in a small village nearby Stonehaven in the east side of Scotland. Wendy started writing short stories when she was 8 years old and still does that today. Next to that she loves painting, making home videos and many other creative hobbies. In the past Wendy took care of many animals living in and around the house of her parents, such as cats, dogs, hamsters, chickens, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. She would get up at 6:00 in the morning to feed all the animals, just to make sure she was ready for school at 8:30! She has been followed through fields by mad cows and horses and even one time by a goat! Not only she shares her house with her husband, but with one cat, Tia, as well. Tia now teaches Wendy to speak "Cat" properly. Wendy published a short story "The Ghost of Hodge Hall" in the Scribbler in December 2007. "Magicus Perfecticum" is her first children's novel.
