Chapter One

I invite you to join me

Beloved child, I am with you always. My love is yours. Love is all there is, in the great "I Am" of the cosmos. Hold my hand and come with me on a journey of discovering the sacred heart, its love, and its wisdom.

When you were a child, I held you in my arms. I sent love through nature, and you loved me in return by feeling and absorbing the beauty of all that you viewed there. I sustained you, my little lamb. Love conquers all—even the broken hearts of the little ones. Love ignites the path of your light journey. Stay ever in the light.

Life is like an ocean wave; it swells and breaks on the shore, only to regenerate and rise again. It is an unending process of regeneration and rebirth, moment by moment. The white foam is the giving forth. Then follows regeneration and more giving forth in an everlasting cycle.

Come hither, all ye children of God. You are loved beyond measure. Love is who you are. Forgiveness is letting go, and seeing only the beauty in others. The fallen are lifted by your love and forgiveness. The love of All That Is holds the Earth and all universes in its heart. It permeates all things.

Forgiveness is the glory of God. In His love, all is forgiven. You are His children held in His love. Life is for loving and seeing God in all things—then there is nothing to forgive. Come with me and I will show you the way. Act always from your heart, and then there is nothing but love, for grace is ever present. Be one with love, as God is bestowing it without end. Recognize and make it a conscious part of yourself. Then your thoughts, intentions, words and deeds will be governed by it. The lamb of God is treasured in the heavens.

Finding and feeling the love of God is a remembering process. Sink into your heart and He is there. You can feel and begin to remember being a child of our beloved Father God. This teaching is about the heart.

Living life

Living and dying are polarities in your world. But dying is the past, and living is the present moment in God consciousness, allowing you to look at "what is" without resistance. Are you dying by rehashing the past? It is gone. Living in the past is to lose the present; it is to lose the opportunity to experience the awareness of your essence—pure, peaceful consciousness. In this space, miracles arise, and if "what is" is not to your liking, but you are allowing it to be, something new arises.

If you are allowing yourself to be pulled into the past, locate the happening that is attracting your attention and ask yourself what the emotion is around the event which has not been surrendered and released from your psyche. Accept it and feel it until it dissolves. This is freedom from dying. This creates space in which to be alive and ever present with your divine essence. Love is the essence of your being, and it is this facet which dissolves whatever is pulling you into the past, thus robbing you of the present and Presence.

Rise like a phoenix from the ashes of the past. Rise into the glory which you are. This is your heritage from the Father who loves you unconditionally. The roller-coaster serves you not. Flow along an even path, like the gentle stream trickling over the stones. Sit and watch this. Visualize it to find that peaceful space within. Listen with your senses, feel the gentleness of the water and the stillness of the stream bed. Smell the pristine freshness of it all. Become part of it until there is no separation. Blend fully until you and the stream are one and the same. Glory in the beauty, in the stillness, in the peace, and feel the joy and tranquillity. Become one with your essence.

This is who you are in reality—your true Self, buried beneath the debris of the mind chatter which repeats itself over and over. Begin to pay attention to your mind talk. It is dull and repetitive, and you will marvel that you have been allowing it free reign for most of your life. When you can see the humour in this, you can let it go much more easily. The mind repeats itself ad infinitum, and it is demented to allow this to continue.

A child doesn't do this, as life is seen to be exciting and full of adventure. A child is inquisitive about life and easily finds wonder and joy. Rediscover your inner child, the one who loves unconditionally. Visualize it, feel its beauty, joy and spontaneity. See the sparkle in the child's eyes as it feels you acknowledging its existence, perhaps for the first time. The little one wants to play for the sheer joy of communion with all that is within its vision. The child finds delight in simple things like the glory of a flower, and the desire to pick one and present it to you with love sparkling from its heart. Feel the joy in the child as you hug it with equal love and devotion.

This exquisite child is you, and it can hardly contain itself in its sheer delight in life. The child's love enfolds all in its innocence, its purity and its divine essence. Marvel at the joy of knowing that you are this child and it is you. Understand its love for all life, in all its expressions, and blend with this beautiful child to feel that same love. Watch its compassion for the unhappy ones. Feel it within you. Compassion is almost as potent as love, and always leads you directly and unwaveringly into the love that you are. This is the pure, uncontaminated child of God within all mankind.

Contemplations

This is your first lesson with contemplations that will guide you toward inner awareness. Focus on the following for today, and for as many days as you require, to gain understanding of how you presently live life.

• Focus on watching your thoughts. Long periods will disappear when you forget to do this, but the awareness will become easier as you practise. Recognize whether you are holding onto past events and reliving them in your mind. It doesn't matter whether they are happy or sad events. Notice as many as possible. Recognize whether your mind is occupying the future. Recognize that it is seldom focused fully on the present moment.

• Spend two periods today doing the stream exercise discussed earlier, and notice how peaceful your mind is at the end.

• Spend some time looking at whether you allow yourself to be like a child, finding joy in life. Resolve to routinely bring this lovely child back into your day.

Love

You are made of the essence of love. It flows like a river within, and spreads beyond you into the universe. Practise feeling this divine essence within. Practise feeling it spread from your heart to all of life. Be aware of feeling the unity, with no separation from anything. Feel the sensation of being one with all, so that your very structure feels dissolved and blended like sugar in water. Revel in this blissful and peaceful feeling.

There is no need to wait for a meditation session to experience this. Several times a day, stop your thinking, planning, doing, and become that oneness for a few minutes. There is always time, my beloved one. Putting it off is denying yourself a period of unadulterated joy. Do not listen to the mind's excuses. It can never understand or know your godliness within. It feels threatened by this space that it cannot know or enter, and will do all in its power to prevent your choice of entry. Do not be annoyed with the ego mind, as it is only doing what it knows best. Simply be firm with it, and even employ humour as you step aside from its voice.

Use your mind as the servant of your heart. Love instructs you through feelings and intuitive guidance. The mind is also used by your spiritual intelligence in planning and thinking through a procedure of where to go next, and how to create the stepping stones toward fruition. Whenever there is uncertainty about the next step, let go of thinking and enter into a reflective space where you allow intuition to flow again. This is how Einstein functioned. His reflective times allowed God's creation to flow into his conscious mind, and he was well aware of this. His reverence for the divinity within was profound.

Contemplations

• Continue with the stream visualization.

• Notice how your mind comes up with excuses for avoidance.

• Notice the nature of those excuses and put them aside. You are on a path of overcoming the little mind, so do not give it ascendance over your few minutes of quiet space. You are on the path of listening only to the Voice of God. A mind that listens to the ego cannot hear the Holy Voice. The two cannot coexist. • Begin to feel the love, as well as the peace, when you go within. • When you feel confused about the best way to move forward with a plan, notice that the mind darts all over the place and you feel uncomfortable. Stop and enter a dreamlike space of silence and allow an idea to intuitively arise. At the very least, the mind will be quietened so that thinking can become more structured.

The heart and the Lord's Prayer

The Lord's Prayer is an entry key to the heart. The apostles, in the early days, were confused about how to enter the inner space where they could feel and know God. This prayer, if spoken with reverence and love, leads the way into the sacred heart. Reverence, awe, love, gratitude and joy toward God are key feelings that facilitate entry. We are all children of God and need to enter as an innocent child. The way is barred to suffering, which is to be left at the door. Take my hand and I will lead you, for I am your elder brother, and I will take care of you always. Relate to me as your brother. Do not put me on a pedestal, as this creates separation between us and takes away your power. Abide in me, as I abide in you. Abide in God, and you abide in me, as we are all of one essence.

We shall examine the prayer as written in the Bible, and then I shall give you a new one which better reflects the truth of my teaching.

Our Father which art in Heaven

God is everywhere. Therefore, Heaven is everywhere. Feel yourself suffused with the essence of Heaven. Be like the gentle lamb in the arms of the shepherd. Feel the warm comfort—the peace and tranquillity.

Hallowed be Thy Name

Feel deep reverence for the majesty of God—the love of All That Is. The word, God, is to be uttered with reverence, awe and profound love. The Creator is beyond the comprehension of the mind, but access is through feeling love. Modern man has put aside the name for others less evocative of the Old Testament God. The name is not important, but the feeling of reverence is. God is our Father, however you may choose to name Him. It is the feeling within you that matters—the depth of your love.

Thy Kingdom come

A desire for God's Kingdom on Earth is in the hearts of all mankind. This line also means that you intend entering God's Kingdom within the self—within your sacred heart.

The sacred heart is an energetic vortex behind your physical heart. The core is love and power. When you enter this space, and expand it outwards, it knows no boundaries. It is unlimited, and with your intent, it can spread throughout the cosmos which is all God's Kingdom.

Thy Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven

God's intent be done. God's intent is unconditional love, so His Will is for us to unconditionally love all. What does love encompass? Within its essence is compassion, kindness, joy, giving, sharing, tranquillity, peace and glory. By saying this line of the prayer, you are affirming your intent to do God's Will, which is also the will of your spiritual Self. Setting an intention is a powerful action, and becoming aware of following that intent is the next step. The stronger your will, the more powerful your passion is for being the love which is God's Will.

In the early days, my disciples saw Heaven as being separate from themselves, as did most people in that land and others. The first step was to create the desire for God's Will on Earth, as there was little evidence of unconditional love in those times. God was revered, but feared in the case of transgression. Once in your heart, it becomes clear that God and Heaven are already present within.

Everything can be created from love. Unconditional love is synonymous with limitless creation. Our Father wishes you to know that His power is within all things. Nature uses it unconsciously, and creates itself in glory. Mankind is designed to use it consciously, and create magnificently with the power of love that desires only the best for all of life.

Our Father speaks directly, because His love for His children is beyond limit:

"Dear One, you are in my heart and I in yours, forever and ever. I never withdraw. When you feel distant from Me, it is you who has withdrawn. With this recognition, you have only to enter your heart to find Me there, in the place I never abandon."

Give us this day our daily bread

Sustenance was the meaning in this context and covers a multitude of life aspects. Yes, it infers food, but also spiritual sustenance and love. It means comfort, joy, peace, courage and tranquillity. You are asking God to provide whatever type of sustenance you require in any life situation. This is not about asking God to fix your problems. It is about asking God to give you His strength to cope and find your way through apparent setbacks, with clarity from His Mind within you. It may be that you require God's sustenance in the form of courage to investigate a fear within yourself, and to understand why you have created this. It may be that you are requesting the strength to overcome addictions, or to move out of a familiar zone which doesn't make you happy. It may be that you are asking God's grace to enable you to see the divine within another whose behaviour doesn't please you.

All is divine sustenance, which is yours for the asking in any moment. God's only request is your love, as He knows that you cannot hear or feel Him otherwise. When love is absent, you have effectively disconnected the communication channel. You have moved into a state of separation and this state is controlled by the ego.

Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us

God sees no wrong in you as you are His perfect creation. Therefore, He sees nothing to judge or forgive. The essence of what I taught was: help us to see no fault in others, so that our own perceived faults may be erased. See another as having trespassed against you and, by this thought, it is you who has trespassed against him. Judgement is a cruel ego game of attack and superiority, and that is a trespass or error.

Practise going beneath the surface in order to see the divine in everyone. This allows you to see that only suffering in another creates an error from him, and so your forgiveness is automatic. Remember to forgive yourself for having found fault in a brother. Seeing the divine and allowing that he is on his journey, perfect as he is, automatically removes any need for forgiveness. We are all one—you, me, and all of life; even that which appears to be inanimate, like the chair you are sitting on. If your chair is uncomfortable, you do something about it rather than blame it. The chair is as it is, and so are people and circumstances. The ego mind makes a judgement in a nanosecond, about what it sees, which is almost too fast to prevent. However, with increased awareness, any judgemental thought can immediately be cancelled, as you choose to see the divinity in all things. It is all about the heart and the amount of love within the self. The more open the heart, the more love is incorporated.

True love is unattached. It has no agenda and no expectation of receiving in return. Love is a feeling; the greatest of all feelings. Love from your heart generates happiness that remains even as life delivers its ups and downs. True love is ever present and can be accessed at will.
