Riassunto

Ivory was my first cat and the first pet that I was allowed to have. We shared lots of good times and she helped to fuel my passion for wanting to become a veterinarian. Many of the poetry and short stories are dedicated to my mom. The others are written about the many interesting times I had growing up as an only child and often attending schools with children from all around the world.

Informazioni sull'autore

The original inspiration for this body of work came from my cats when I was at the tender age of eleven and was finally allowed to have a pet due to my asthmatic condition. My name is Eboni Deanne Adderley. I am now a junior at Iowa State University perusing my love for animals and is majoring in Animal Science with emphasis in livestock management. One day I wish to educate and produce food on my own. My dream is to return to my home country The Bahamas to conduct research and revitalize the agricultural sector there. In the process, influencing the upcoming generation in ways to connect and understand where their food comes from and how it is produced is also a primary motivation. I believe that sustainable practices in how we live is the key to a healthier and wealthier life. Although busier these days, I still enjoy writing and coming up with new ideas for children’s books. Thank you for reading my current collection. Please feel free to share them with your friends. With Love Always Eboni
