Mi chiamo Ruth Carolyn Spies-Laudon. Nato nel 1949 da Bud e Flossie Spies (Wayne e Florence) e ho un fratello, Danny Spies. Vivevo in un berg chiamato Hinton, Iowa con nonni, zie, zii, cugini e amici. Mi sono laureato al college con una specializzazione in spagnolo, minori in psicologia e sociologia con 10 ore in lezioni religiose cristiane. Sono stato sposato con la mia anima gemella e mio marito per 32 anni. Non abbiamo figli, ma abbiamo molti nipoti e nipoti, e ora molti molti grandi nipoti e nipoti che hanno benedetto la nostra vita. Ho scritto alcune poesie da bambino e nel corso degli anni, ma nel marzo 2005 sono stato unto dal Signore per scrivere poesie cristiane (alcune stravaganti) e ho scritto oltre 400 poesie. Ho selezionato quello che ho sentito essere il migliore in questo libro, Riflessioni di Ruth. Mi piace scrivere poesie e sento davvero di essere il collegamento tra Dio e il giornale che la gente legge. Mi piace anche immensamente scattare foto di arcobaleni, alberi, fiori, laghi, fienili, persone? tutto. Poi collage la mia poesia con la mia fotografia come regalo ad amici e familiari. Possano tutti coloro che leggono le pagine di questo libro scoprire di essere amati dal nostro Padre Celeste. Trovo rilassante poter scrivere del Signore e di tutte le benedizioni che mi ha concesso.

My name is Ruth Carolyn Spies-Laudon. Born in 1949 to Bud and Flossie Spies (Wayne and Florence) and I have one sibling, Danny Spies. I lived in a berg called Hinton, Iowa with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. I graduated from college with a major in Spanish, minors in Psychology and Sociology with 10 hours in Christian religious classes. I have been married to my soul mate and husband for 32 years. We have no children but we have many nieces and nephews, and now many many great nieces and nephews which have blessed our lives. I have written some poetry as a child and through the years but in March 2005 I was anointed by the Lord to write Christian poetry (some whimsical) and have written over 400 poems. I've selected what I felt were the best in this book, Reflections of Ruth. I enjoy writing poetry and I really feel that I am the liaison between God and the paper that people read. I also immensely enjoy taking pictures of natures' rainbows, trees, flowers, lakes, barns, people - everything. I then collage my poetry with my photography as presents to friends and family. May all who read the pages of this book find that they are loved by our Heavenly Father. I find it soothing to be able to write about the Lord and all the blessings He has bestowed upon me.
