They were taught with some routine structure, reminders, and help and support from her school, Ruby could thrive. Also it was recommended due to her lack of focus and concentration to prescribe her a mild medication that would help in those areas. With the support from friends, family and her teacher, Ruby is now a happy thriving little girl.

Nacole A. Parker combined her education of a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Urban Education in Counseling to complete this children's book. With over fifteen years of experience in the Mental Health Field, she has worked with a diversity of groups including, three years with troubled youth, who most often times were diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. Currently working on her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling Studies, she is primarily focusing on the population of ADD and ADHD in youth. Residing in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area with her husband and two daughters, she will continue to write children's books that are educational tools for the parents of children with difficulties in focusing and retaining of information.
