Informazioni sull'autore

Born June 2, 1971 in Etobicoke, I grew up in Muskoka, Ontario. As a child I devoured books, including Jack London’s The Call of the Wild, CS Lewis’s Narnia Chronicles, and had my first newspaper column at the age of thirteen.

After high school I spent time living overseas and witnessed the collapse of the Berlin Wall. Over the years I’ve traveled to over twenty-five countries on four continents.

I studied journalism at Loyalist College, took communication studies from Simon Fraser University and worked in special education. I also completed a creative writing diploma, which was when I began my first completed manuscript.

My love affair with crime fiction began when I read Ian Rankin’s The Falls. I devoured the Rebus books, and police procedurals, and ultimately decided to write them. When I’m not working on a manuscript, I’m busy editing Spinetingler Magazine. My short stories have appeared in Out of the Gutter, Crimespree Magazine, Pulp Pusher, The Cynic, and Demolition.

And, in the small bits of time between writing and editing, I indulge my love of hiking and photography. I currently live in western Canada with two dogs and too many cats.
