The Minotaur is the third book in The Labyrinth Trilogy about gold and jewels smuggled out of Austria to Greece during World War II. In The Minotaur, two archeologists, an old German soldier, Louis Wafford, and Ed Blakely search Crete for the lost fortune and Minoan artifacts. Complications occur when Blakely learns the Sea Siren, a retrofitted tall ship he has sailed across the Atlantic, is to be sold to a third world country. Using his intelligence and sailing knowledge, he attempts to thwart the sale. Finding the treasure, Blakely redeems the reputation of of his boyhood hero, but success results in death and ruined lives.
