Robert Revelle Sr. was born in Harrellsville, North Carolina; graduated from high school in Winton, North Carolina, and received a scholarship to Hampton Institute in Virginia. He moved to Wilmington, Delaware, and soon after arriving he enlisted, and was accepted in the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School. He completed studies in personnel management at the United States Army Personnel Management School, in Fort Chachucha, Arizona. He was called to preach in May of 1987 and attended Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, School of Ministry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1993, Robert Revelle Sr. was installed as the pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Revelle made non-traditional changes within Mount Zion, and as a result, the church was renamed and is now known as Mount Zion Greater Harvest Ministries Intl. Additional churches were birthed under the Greater Harvest Ministries Intl. conference and a church was established abroad. Currently serving as Senior Pastor and General Overseer of the Mount Zion Greater Harvest Ministries assemblies in the tri-state area, Pastor Revelle's accomplishments are many. He presides as President and Prelate to Greater Harvest Ministries Intl., Conference; is President and CEO of Anointed Word-Revelation Ministries, and World Impact Visions, Inc.
