Andy Warhol is credited for coining the expression that everybody has 15 minutes of fame in their life. Randy Fisher's 15 minutes turns into a new life. He's a regional sales director for a manufacture of industrial electrical equipment and was making a standard sales call at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia. 15 minutes later he has been seriously wounded during a fight with a terrorist but prevents a nuclear incident from affecting the entire country.
