Arthur Freeman was born in Langley, a suburb of South Carolina in the early 1940's. At the age of three hr began to sing, mostly to the homeless, wayward, and poor families who showed up at hi mother's front porch for a meal and prayer. Although his young years were marred by hardship and heartache, with the divorce of his parents. The love and affection of God and his older sisters gave him the strength and hope to endure. Arthur began to write poems and songs, because he felt a compeling umption of the Holy Spirit to write and sing a word of comfort for the weary. Freeman calling it the Congreation in the streets, those who may not know the love of the Father, or never been properly introduced. Firstly, Arthur had to learn to feel good about himself, who he was and whom he belonged too. It was a struggle filled with fear, anxiety, and an overwhelming battle with his lifestyle. The magnitude of his circumstances could not overpower the magnitude of the almighty God. Pain must be expressed in words. It is empthany and a deep concern for ones self and others the Holy Spirit directing a designated path. Life will teach us to stop dwelling in the past. Press forward, Destiny is straight ahead. Freeman is grateful to be a member of the Bethel Gospel Assembly NYC. Bishop Carlton T. Brown is his beloved Pastor. His mission in life is found in Isiah 50: 4-5 KJV. His greatest joy is being connected to the power of God. And the body of Christ
