This is the story of Maria Federici Doyle, a young woman whose life changed on a February night in 2004. Maria Federici (Doyle) lives in Seattle with her husband and 3 dogs. She lives independently and enjoys life to the fullest even though she is permanently blind and will continue to have ongoing reconstructive surgeries through life as needed. She continues to have obstacles placed in front of her and looks forward to knocking them down.
