Keith D. Roe was born in Grahn, Kentucky. He dropped out of high school but soon passed the GED. He studied at Morehead State University receiving a Bachelors degree in physics and philosophy. He also attended graduate school at this same institution. He has worked in tobacco and parallel programming. He has installed fiber optic cables in Boston and Denver. He has been a dishwasher, an engineering technician and a taco builder. Many years have been spent working in various factories. He is currently employed at a factory in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, where he lives. But he would rather be a writer!
