Siegel has worked as a crime reporter in Detroit, an assistant to Sean &ldquo;Diddy&rdquo; Combs, and a travel writer for </span><span style="font-style:italic;">Marie Claire</span><span> magazine. Siegel lives in Jackson Heights, Queens, one of the city&rsquo;s most diverse neighborhoods.</span>
