Rufus Rockwell Wilson (1865-1949) was an assignment writer on the Elmira Telegram, and when Rudyard Kipling went to Elmira to visit Quarry Farm and meet Mark Twain, Wilson is the one who showed him the way. In addition to writing books and articles, Wilson was an expert on Abraham Lincoln.
