Diana I. Bowen is assistant professor of communication at Pepperdine University.
Leandra H. Hernández is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Communication at University of Utah, USA.
She is a queer critical/feminist health communication and media studies scholar with applied praxis contributions to teaching, research, and service. She is also the co-editor of numerous edited volumes and has been published in journals such as Health Communication, Communication Education, and Women's Studies in Communication.
