Hellen Riebold was born in rural Essex early in 1967 and had a very happy childhood spent playing with friends, imaginary and real, around the remote farm her family lived on. Having moved over 34 times, Hellen has now returned to Essex where she enjoys going for long country walks with her long-suffering husband and their two mad dogs. As a child her overactive imagination often got her in to trouble, until one day her English Teacher, Mrs Wright, called her to one side and suggested that she channel the stories that imagination fired into the written word rather than reporting them as fact. Hellen thought that sounded like a good plan and gave it a go, enjoying not being in trouble and discovering a life-long passion in the process. Hellen enjoys writing many genres, including science fiction for all ages, thrillers, and inspirational fiction.
