Michael McTeigue is the author of the popular full-swing instruction book, The Keys to the Effortless Golf Swing. As a member of the U.S. Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA), Michael conducted thousands of golf lessons as assistant professional at Bel Air CC, teaching professional at Riviera CC, and head golf professional at Palos Verdes GC in California.
Michael was voted the 1995 Teacher of the Year for the Northern California Section of the PGA. He served as a faculty member in the PGA's Golf Professional Training Program and as an instructor in the PGA's Professional Training and Development Seminar Program. He has authored numerous instruction articles for publications such as GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest, and Senior Golfer.
Michael graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with a degree in Psychology, and he received his MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He resides in San Mateo, CA.
