Chapter 3: A general description of data collection and its limitations. Chapter 4: Study-site descriptions and analysis. Chapter 5: Recommendations and future goals. Chapter 6: Conclusions and Recommendations The “selected site” approach of this resource guide is intended to encourage and guide police and communities as they begin to take action to evaluate allegations of racial profiling and to help police and communities learn from one another’s experiences and successes. To facilitate this exchange of ideas, contact information is provided for each site described in this guide. To promote the continued exchange of facts, forms, and new data collection systems, one recommendation of this guide is to create a Web site for sharing information about racial profiling and data collection.
