I feel this story teaches us kids about obedience and disobedience. It teaches us forgiveness. Jonah was born in 800 Bc and died in 740 Bc. He was born in Gath-hepher, Israel. Through the story of Jonah, the Lord teaches us that we must obey his will. Jonah tried to obey God and was nearly killed by frightened sailors. He was thrown into the sea and spent three days and three nights in the belly of a big fish. He prayed and repented and received mercy from God and deliverance from the belly of the fish. When Jonah obeyed God, he told the people of Nineveh what God said, and the people believed and repented of their sins. Jonah was unhappy because God showed the people mercy. Sometimes, we desire revenge so much that we forget that our God is love and mercy. He desires that all people be saved, and he calls us just as he called Jonah. We are to tell the people about his love and mercy so that all may repent of their sins and receive salvation. This story teaches us that spreading the Word of God and repenting leads us to God's mercy, love, and forgiveness. I challenge you to spread the Word and tell someone you know about God's love.

Youngest member of the Shirlee-Scott-Ball-Armstead family. Born December 7, 2004, in Little Rock, Arkansas, but my heritage is from Louisiana, the home of my great-grandmother and father, a grandmother, and mother. Since two, I have had an addiction to electronics. As a baby, I played computer games. Today I still spend hours (which I need to cut back on) playing video games. Other passions are playing the piano, which has been six years now, and reading. My love for reading is a major reason I wrote this book. Of all the books I read, the Bible is my favorite.
