Meredith Mikell lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida with her husband and two sons. She teaches high school biological sciences and is an avid competitive distance runner, having also coached cross country and track. Meredith also enjoys SCUBA diving, aviation, martial arts, and hiking. She originally hails from Seattle, Washington, though attended high school in central Arizona and college and graduate school on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and a Master of Aeronautical Science in Space Science.
