Sinossi
Retired policeman Joe looks for a quieter life when he buys a pub in the village of Lakedale without ever having met its weird and wonderful inhabitants. Despite trying not to get involved, he is compelled to aid the villagers in a variety of tasks which are far more serious than they first appear. Lives, a secret recipe, the church and other things held dear by the inhabitants are at stake. Not to mention a looming Trial by Ruttgott which will determine whether he will keep the pub or lose everything
