It’s been quite the journey to write ‘The Awakening’ due to the many twists and turns life can throw at us. However, I am thankful for my wife and children and their continued support while I finished. ‘The Awakening’ was not only hard to write because of time constraints and the many bumps of life along the road, but since this series is based on my own personal experiences, recalling the many special friends I’ve lost and the difficulties along the way, have been hard to remember and think about again. Yet, upon reflection of the journey itself, I am grateful for the opportunities God has given me to show His love and miracles to so many, as well as, the special friends I’ve been blessed to meet along the way. With the first three books in the ‘Chronicles of Malachai’ series now complete, ‘The Gift’; ‘The Purpose’; and, ‘The Awakening’, my plan is to finish writing the final two books of this series and then continue writing a new children story series, I used to create for my own boys when they were young. Having the opportunity to write is one more of the great blessings I’ve found in life and hearing about the effects these words have had to encourage others, is what compels me to continue. I wish to thank you for taking the time to read what God has placed on my heart to write and for sharing this part of the journey with me.
