Ronna Detrick, M.Div. loves smart, sophisticated conversations about and with women; deep, sacred, life-changing stuff. She is often frustrated with and sad about the ways in which women’s stories (particularly the ancient, sacred narratives she loves) have too-often been misinterpreted and maligned – thus causing us to feel the same. She believes that when women’s stories change, everything changes – philosophies, beliefs, systems, structures, politics, leadership, homes, children, commerce, whole worlds. She’s certain that the world is praying for a deeper, richer wisdom; that this prayer is answered through womens’ incarnate brilliance and beauty. And she’s confident that the Sacred shows up when she writes and speaks about these things. And so she does. Ronna has a B.A. in Business and Communications from Whitworth University and both a Masters of Divinity degree and Certificate in Spiritual Direction from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Ronna has been blogging for more than 10 years and has been published on numerous websites, in multiple eBooks and collaborative products, and in journals and periodicals. Ronna’s online business (www.ronnadetrick.com) has been in place since 2009 offering online products and courses as well sustaining an established client base in one-on-one Spiritual Direction. She is an accomplished public speaker with a TEDx talk on Eve and experience in countless venues that range from churches and military bases to conference centers.
