Some of the patterns are inspired by the backgrounds in my previous book, “Flowers & Fashion: Women of the World Coloring Book” and many are different. I have tried to make each piece separate and individual for use in coloring or other craft projects but the unifying theme is the beauty of flowers in all of their shapes and sizes. Pamela Duarte was born in Los Angeles & received a BFA from Art Center College of Design. She worked in New York as a fashion illustrator and upon returning to Los Angeles segued into fashion dolls. Among her clients are Mattel, Random House, & Readers Digest. She has also designed for toy companies in Hong Kong. She has travelled extensively & considers it among her most important learning experiences. She now lives in the peaceful Ojai Valley.
