The Master's Model is Volume 2 of Dr. Michael W. Reilly's Master's Apprentice Study Series. Building on Volume 1 (New Wineskins), it challenges believers to move beyond nominal, church-attendance Christianity into authentic, mobilized discipleship. Reilly argues that the Great Commission — rightly understood through a Hebrew cultural lens — is not a program or church initiative but a complete reorientation of life. He walks readers through Jesus' four-phase model of discipling the Twelve, the baptisms of the New Testament, the Discipleship Continuum from Seeker to Equipper, and the marks of spiritual maturity. The book's driving question is urgent and personal: How can anyone say they love God and have no passion to reach the lost? Its goal is to produce Great Commission Christians — people who know who they are in Christ, live the Word rather than merely knowing it, and have built their lives around fulfilling the Great Commission.

Dr. Michael Reilly and his wife, Jean, have been honored to have served as missionaries to four countries. Michael has taught in two seminaries, he has mobilized numerous local churches to reach the nations, and equipped countless believers to become Great Commission Christians. Michael’s passion is to awaken the sleeping giant: the Believers that know about the Great Commission, but have not yet been mobilized.
