Dr. Kenneth W. Oosting is the founder and former President of Williamson Christian College, a nontraditional bachelor's-degree-granting Christian college with on-site and online courses in Franklin, Tennessee. He also founded Oosting and Associates Inc., an academic management and consulting firm in Franklin, Tennessee, in 1987. Together, Oosting and Associates and Knowledge Elements have served over 150 colleges and universities. Dr. Oosting was the academic dean of Milligan College from 1976 to 1986 and, before his time at Milligan, served as a community-college president, dean, department chair, and professor. He advises college deans and presidents through workshops and campus visits. Dr. Oosting's undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan, and his PhD is from the University of Minnesota. He and his wife, Jacklyn, live in Brentwood, Tennessee. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.
