Riassunto

""Plotinus: The Theosophy of the Greeks"" is a book written by G.R.S. Mead that delves into the philosophy of Plotinus, a prominent Greek philosopher who lived in the 3rd century AD. Mead provides a comprehensive analysis of Plotinus' teachings on the nature of reality, the soul, and the divine. He discusses Plotinus' belief in the existence of a transcendent realm beyond the physical world, which he calls the One, and how this One is the source of all being. Mead also explores Plotinus' ideas about the soul and its relationship to the divine, as well as his views on ethics and the purpose of human existence. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in ancient Greek philosophy and the development of Western thought.1895.
