This is a practical guide to injection molding based on sound engineering fundamentals. The process/procedure for establishing optimum process conditions for a "new" mold and material (not run previously by the reader) are next described. Finally, a range of other more specialized injection molding processes that are still of practical importance are covered.

Informazioni sull?autore
Dr. Robert Malloy is Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Plastics Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is an active researcher and consultant in the areas of plastics processing, design, and recycling. Dr. Malloy is the author of many publications and patents, including a textbook on the subject of plastic part design. Prior to joining the faculty at Lowell, he was an instructor at the Algerian Petroleum Institute in Annaba, Algeria.
