Riassunto

Ricky Tims’ rhapsody quilts are striking medallion-style quilts that use graceful curved designs in sophisticated mirror-image arrangements. Start with a basic skeleton, then follow the ready-made designs, or add original appliqué or lush quilting. Like a musical rhapsody, the form can encompass a wide variety of themes and motifs, with the overall design maintaining focus and unity. An amazing gallery of rhapsody quilts made by Ricky Tims and many of his friends and family is packed with inspiring ideas and innovations, all variations on the basic rhapsody quilt form.
