Sinossi

Scrapbookers now have their guide through the wonderful world of color, with lots of inspiration and ideas along the way.

How can you prevent an album filled with sepia-toned photos and brown paper from looking muddy? A white layout from becoming too washed-out? And how much color is too much? Scrapbookers struggle with these questions, but now they've reached the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, with a guide to all the color tools and techniques in the scrapbooking arsenal. They'll discover how to utilize whites and pastels, work with primary shades, employ a cornucopia of earth tones, exploit the versatility of blacks and grays, experiment with unusual combinations, and create intricate patterns. Fabulous layouts from top scrapbookers will help clarify the concepts, from adding flair with metallics and glitter to capturing the palette of sunsets for vacation or landscape pages. And there are creative sidebars, a personality profile survey to define your favorite hues, and hands-on exercises.
