The purpose of Beginner's Guide to SolidWorks 2008 is to help the student learn the basic concepts of SolidWorks and good solid modeling practices in an easy to follow guide. It is intended for the new SolidWorks user, users with experience in different CAD systems, and as a teaching aid in classroom training. L'autore

Alejandro Reyes obtained his engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Juárez in Mexico as an electro-mechanical engineer; upon finishing he obtained a scholarship for a Masters Degree in the University of Texas at El Paso in mechanical design, with strong focus in Materials Science and Finite Element Analysis.

Currently Alejandro is the President of MechaniCAD Inc. He is a Certified SolidWorks Instructor and Support Technician, Certified SolidWorks Professional and COSMOSWorks Certified Support Technician with over 14 years experience using CAD/CAM/FEA software.
