Each chapter will cover simple, small sample games to demonstrate beginning game programming techniques. The author will use Anim8or, which supports 3D Studio files and Lightwave files, to create original artwork used in the book and will include the 3D object files on the CD-ROM. Readers who are inspired to learn more about making their own 3d models can go on to "Game Art for Teens," "The Dark Side of Game Texturing," "2D Artwork and 3D Modeling for Game Artists," etc. based on their area of interest and level of artistic experience.
