Time-Travel Math takes an innovative approach to teaching gifted math students advanced geometry concepts by weaving an adventure-filled story with entertaining practice problems that require deep mathematical thinking. Students will engage in advanced abstract inquiry and will explore new geometry topics such as ratios, angles, regular polygons, symmetry, and area through a combination of challenging written worksheets and hands-on activities. Time-Travel Math includes fully reproducible worksheets that students can use individually or in groups, as well as detailed rubrics for teachers.

Amy Bernstein studied gifted education at the University of Virginia, receiving her master's degree in education there in 1989. Since that time, she has run gifted programs in Waltham and Pepperell, MA, and has taught and tutored gifted students. Ms. Bernstein was the first teacher in the state of Massachusetts to be certified in academically advanced education. She lives in Framingham, MA, with her husband and two daughters, her dog, her two cats, her lizard, and her turtle.
