He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and Ph.D. in bioengineering, both from the University of Washington. Vesna Zderic is a research associate in the applied physics laboratory at the University of Washington. She holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Serbia and a Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Washington.
