Michael is a Quaker and he tries to live his life in ways that bring peace, honesty, fairness and simplicity. He believes that time is running out to save the planet, and that children have great wisdom, bringing messages of hope to help humanity to talk and work together. He made use of designs he produced over 25 years ago as well as more recent paintings. He loves to travel and has incorporated that interest into Treasure, Trash, and Turtles. The author plans to write a series of books about the Birthday Bunch. He has a home in Skipton, Northern England, but now works in Uganda.
