Sinossi

Help Wanted: Laborers for Church Renewal and World Evangelization
Christian leaders are calling for two important things in our generation: renewal in the church and a new thrust to evangelize the world. What is the key to accomplishing these two great tasks? According to veteran disciplemaker LeRoy Eims, it is the training of laypeople to become the laborers Jesus talked about when He said to ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into the harvest field (Matthew 9:38).

In this revised and updated version of Laboring in the Harvest, Randy Eims adds words of principle and direction to his father’s classic book. LeRoy and Randy define a laborer as one who is equipped to reach the lost and edify the saved. They explain that the majority of Christians do not even realize there is such a class of laborers in the Bible. Their words offer a job description for laborers, outline the training needed for laboring, and describe the spiritual tools a laborer needs in Christ’s harvest. The book offers a fresh look at a biblical plan to accomplish Christ’s Great Commission. More than that, it is a practical guide for men and women who want to take part in a vigorous lay movement of renewal and world evangelization.
