Sinossi

With more than forty-five years of ministry experience between them, authors Dave Edwards and John Stamper have created First Book Challenge, a curriculum that equips teens to turn to the Bible first as the authority in their lives.

As part of the challenge, students are encouraged to give Bibles to their friends so they, too, can learn what it means to make God’s Word their First Book. And to help them share the Bible, VAST comes with a special edition of The Message!

First Book Challenge is divided into three phases and can be used as a twelve-week curriculum or at a weekend retreat with eight weeks of follow-up lessons.

Dalla quarta di copertina

First Book Challenge is made up of students like you who have chosen not to bow down to the prevailing trends of society or its relentless pursuit of materialism and instead strive to embrace God’s standard of absolute truth.

In the next four weeks, you will encounter the God of Scripture. This study will reveal the enormous ways He connects with and reveals Himself to us through His Word. Each chapter includes:

· A main teaching principle
· A key Scripture reference
· Reflection-and-discussion questions
· Personal life applications
· Skills for equipping students to read and experience the Word in a fresh and creative way
