9781630818401: An Introduction to Passive Radar

Sinossi

Assembling a large volume of research results and lecture and tutorial material into book form, Griffith and Baker introduce passive radar, which does not transmit a signal, but senses transmissions from elsewhere. This edition incorporates new technologies that are now in use, such as systems on moving platforms such as aircraft and UAVs, types of transmissions such as single-frequency broadcast and 5G, and processing techniques. Among their topics are principles of passive radar, properties of illuminators, predicting performance, detection and tracking, and examples of systems and results.
