Shelly also has extensive experience in the non-profit world, having served on the Boards of Directors of Skills for Chicagoland’s Future, the Chicago Urban League, and Little City Foundation. She also founded Sustaining Excellence, a non-profit organization created in 2014 to prepare collegiate student-athletes to successfully transition to a post-graduate career. A California native, Shelly was an Academic All-American and member of UCLA’s 1982 National Championship Softball team. Timothy Zowada is the illustrator for many of our Real MVP Kids books. Tim has an Associates Degree in Fine Arts and has spent much of his life personally working with children.
