Mark Opsasnick was born in Washington, D.C. and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in 1984. To date he has authored eight books and innumerable articles on popular culture, rock and roll music, and unexplained phenomena. He resides in Prince George's County, Maryland.
