When my daughter Lauren left for her freshman year at Baylor University in the fall of 2020, I had so much to tell her and so much advice to offer, but I didn’t know the best way to communicate all this information. My wife is good at one-on-one teaching conversations with our daughters – that is not me. My best way to communicate the details of my thoughts to my daughters is through written word. I wrote those texts to her purely out love for Lauren. I wrote this book in the hopes that this love can be shared with other fathers to their daughters (or sons).
