The obstacles only build as they face off against Goroth’s forces, a mysterious man with his own ends to meet, and a jealous queen bent on stopping their progress. But their greatest challenge will be breaking through the walls around Amara’s heart before she succumbs to her hate and destroys everything in her path. The Lost Princess is a story of more than just epic fantasy, though fantastical elements abound. It is even more so about friendships, dealing with difficult/abusive relationships, family expectations, choosing what is best for ourselves, and forgiving those who hurt us to name a few. I have tried to create a story that takes the reader not just on a journey through the world I created but on a journey of self. What do you lack or what have you struggled within your life? It needn’t be big nor small. We have all walked a path we’ve found difficult at times. Many of the things that happened to Amara have happened to me. Perhaps not quite as dramatic but I was still deeply hurt and full of anger and sadness at one time. So much so that I would have at one point wished myself dead and gone. And even now I still struggle with the Amara in me. But just as Amara will grow on her journey, I have also grown and healed on mine. So please as you read of Amara and her friends' struggles and triumphs, remember. You are not alone. All is not lost.
