“NASA, Behind-the-Scenes Snippets” revisits the voyage of Apollo 11 led by the late astronaut Neil Armstrong nearly 50 years ago. In this book, the author reveals that even though this then first-in-a-lifetime event took place in a highly scientific technological arena, it was interesting to witness episodes of mundane human behavior from time to time. This proves that man can be placed in an exotic, futuristic environment but can’t always be expected to show an exotic, futuristic behavior. In this book, the author asserts that no matter the environment humans may be placed in, they never move afar from who they really are. The snippets described in the body of “NASA, Behind-the-Scenes Snippets” exemplify some of those down-to-earth behaviors, no matter what the circumstances may be.
