Kituba also known as Kikongo ya Leta and Munukutuba is a vehicular or trade language spoken along the lower reaches of the Congo and it tributaries. There are no full scall grammars or dictionaries in the seldom studied language and only a very few scholarly sketches of it are available. Gifted students may be able to make some progress using the text and accompanying tapes alone.
