Every day things happen as they do every other day. We become comfortable with the routines that determine our lives accepting the characters we meet on a daily basis. He of course, is a man with a very important mission The Tortoise Keeper is the short story of a special man, like all people are; a quiet and patient steward intent on saving what could be lost. It is an environmental tale and a Christian story, centered on our perceptions of others based on their outward appearance. As after all, appearances can be deceptive. It is also written to set a series of challenges for us all for we need to change if our species is to survive. It's also a book about tortoises.
