Dr. Horvath has been instrumental in bringing geofoam geotechnology to a global audience, beginning with his seminal scholarly monograph "Geofoam Geosynthetic" that was published in 1995. This latest monograph is a more-focused treatment of using geofoam to reduce lateral pressures on all types of earth-retaining structures, a subject that he has been researching since 1987.
