Riassunto

Life is not easy when you look one way on the outside and feel another way on the inside. But that’s just the sort of life Porkington Hamm has, after getting a dose of Doctor Morty’s experimental stem cell serum.

Thinking, feeling, and (mostly) looking human, Porkington makes friends, develops his culinary talents, and explores the city. He loves the library, the farmers market, and the local cafe. And he's at his best when he forgets about himself and concentrates on helping others.

But people don’t always treat him nicely. Some are afraid of him and others are mean. A mysterious woman is stalking Porkington, and when his best friend Tom leaves town she makes her move. Is it the same person who caused trouble for Doctor Morty at the university? Will she succeed in turning Porkington back into an ordinary pig?

This middle-grade children's book is fun reading for young fans (ages 8 - 12) of fantasy and adventure, humorous chapter books, books about animals, and friendship. The Porkington's World series includes six children's chapter books featuring piglets-turned-human Porkington, Swinson, and Bonny as they navigate growing up, friendships, school and work, travel, and adventures.
