Stuart O Grady, nicknamed Stuey, grew up in Adelaide, Australia. As a teenager his cycling talent was quickly recognised and he was selected for the AIS. From there he became a top Australian professional road cyclist. He and Graeme Brown won a gold medal in the Men s Madison at the 2004 Summer Olympics. O Grady completed the Tour de France seventeen times.
